Colchester boss Danny Cowley said: "We're really pleased to be able to bring Moses in. He's a player who can play in any number of attacking positions. He can play seven, eight, 10, 11. He's a very gifted player with the ball and can really speed up the game. He's got good goal creation and can score goals, as well."

Sesay was given his senior debut last season, coming on for a cameo appearance in Southampton's 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Norwich City. He has featured regularly with the Saints under-21 side alongside former Colchester loanee, Romeo Akachukwu but was not involved in their Carabao Cup game at the U's, earlier this month.
