Former Colchester United loanee Alie Sesay has signed for UAE third-tier club Precision FC. The 32-year-old defender, who was with National League North side Morecambe last season, continues a career that has spanned over a dozen countries.

Sesay made three appearances for Colchester during a loan spell from Leicester City in the 2013-14 season. His EFL debut came in a League One match against Sheffield United. Since then, his career has taken him to clubs in Sweden, Greece, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Vietnam. He is also a Sierra Leone international.

A social media account tracking English players abroad noted the move, posting: "Two new arrivals in the UAE third-tier!"

Colchester, meanwhile, are focused on their current League Two campaign. They sit 13th in the table with 8 points from six games, having taken two wins, two draws, and two losses. Their recent form shows two wins from their last five outings.

The U's last result was a 1-1 home draw with Crewe Alexandra on September 12, with Harry Anderson scoring their goal. Sesay's former clubs also include Barnet and Cambridge United.
