Colchester United's EFL Trophy match with Luton Town has been shifted to Saturday 3rd October. The game will begin at 3pm at the JobServe Community Stadium. Tickets and parking passes bought for the initial date will still be accepted.
The adjustment was required because Colchester's planned League Two home fixture versus Port Vale was delayed. That game was postponed after Vale players were selected for international duty, freeing up the schedule.
Luton Town, managed by Jack Wilshere and nicknamed the Hatters, will travel to north Essex this weekend. The team, featuring players Danny and Nicky, hopes to continue its improved performances.
Colchester is positioned 13th in League Two, with eight points from six games. Their latest form includes two victories, one tie, and two losses, a run they will try to better beginning with their upcoming league match against Cheltenham, who are in fourth place.
