Colchester United defender Cameron Coxe has signed for Morecambe on a two-year deal. The 27-year-old full-back made nearly 50 appearances for Colchester after signing from Solihull Moors in 2021. Coxe, a Wales under-21 international, joined Colchester on loan in 2021 and made his debut for the club in 2021. He played for Colchester until 2022, when he joined Boreham Wood on loan. Coxe played for Boreham Wood until 2023, when he was released by the club. Morecambe boss Adam Lakeland has praised Coxe's experience and said he is a quality player who will bring experience to the club. Coxe has said he is excited to join Morecambe and is looking forward to giving something back to the club. Coxe's signing is a boost for Morecambe, who are looking to improve their squad for the upcoming season.
