Colchester United have secured the services of 19-year-old forward Moses Sesay on a season-long loan from Southampton. The versatile attacker, who began his youth career at Chelsea before moving to the Saints as a first-year scholar at 16, signed his first professional contract 18 months later. Sesay featured for Southampton’s first team during pre-season ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and made his senior debut as a late substitute in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Norwich City. He has also represented England at youth level, earning three caps for the U18s and scoring on his debut against the Czech Republic. The loan will see him join the U’s until the end of the season, pending the usual paperwork approvals.
